Day One

I am preparing to be on the road again for the second part of the Raw Food Road Trip. This time I will be continuing my discussion about raw food and juicing and adding information about the importance of cleansing. Join me every couple of days this month as I travel across Canada on my way to Edmonton and Calgary in Alberta and then on to Coquitlam, Nanaimo, Vancouver and Victoria in BC.
I will be sharing with you what happens in the classes or workshops I will be doing at these locations and giving you some hints as to how I stay on the Hallelujah Diet as I am travelling across this beautiful country!
Today I am packing and getting everything ready for my flight to Edmonton, AB. Besides the clothes I will need for a three week journey I am packing some of the foods I will use to eat healthy while I am on the road. Hallelujah Acres has a great supply of Living Foods, such as all the Max Juices; BarleyMax, CarrotJuiceMax, BeetMax, and TrioMax Capsules which will start my day and each meal. I will use the Survival bars for my breakfast mid-morning and the Snack Bars for my mid-afternoon snack. Once I get to Edmonton I will go to the fresh produce sections of the grocery store and buy an assortment of fruits, such as, apples, oranges, bananas and berries to add to my breakfast menu and fresh raw veggies, such as carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, to make into finger foods for lunch while I travel. I can still stop in at Starbucks or Tim Hortons to get a herbal tea and a bottle of distilled water to keep hydrated. Usually in the evening I can find a restaurant that will serve a raw salad every night and maybe even a baked potato or vegetable pasta once or twice a week. Get Healthy Stay Balanced

During the past week we had the “Get Healthy Stay Balanced” 3-day workshop. This is a great program where you come to experience the Hallelujah Diet and learn more about how to incorporate it into your daily routine. You will be taught how to change your lifestyle with the right information (using a series of lectures and DVD’s) as well as experiencing the healthy raw foods of the Hallelujah Diet! You can invest in the whole program to finally change your lifestyle for better health at this 3-day retreat or just take one day to wet your appetite for healthy food! You can take each class separately in any order at a separate cost per day.
The topics discussed each day are:
A – LIVING FOODS for the BODY (9am-5pm with breakfast, lunch & dinner)
* Raw Food, Juicing and Enzyme
* Menu Planning, shopping, kitchen organization
* The Foods to Avoid for Improved Health
B – CLEANSING the BODY (9am-5pm with breakfast, lunch & dinner)
* The Importance of Nourishing and Cleansing the body
* Exercise should be part of your daily, weekly routine
* How Fresh Air, Water & Sunshine are necessary for Optimal Health
C – Taking Care of the MIND & SOUL (9am-4pm with breakfast, lunch & snack)
* How to manage your Stress and Emotions for Better Mental Health
* Rest is an important part of your healthy lifestyle
* How the Spiritual wellbeing is important for Better Health
We will offer this 3-day workshop once more year from October 12-14.
Each class includes Gourmet Vegetarian Food Prep sessions, the GHSB materials & all your meals are included in the price of $349.95 / person (spouses are $125.00 extra). A deposit of $100.00 per person is required to save your space for the class.
